An example trip. Your people, your plans.

More memories.
Less mental maths.

From first plan to last payment

The only thing to split
is the spending.

01

Make a little group.

Create a trip and invite your people with a link. Everyone joins with their own Ghar account. You don’t need to share a house.

02

Keep the spending together.

Add the stay, dinner and everything in between. Record who paid and who shares each expense, in a ledger just for this trip.

03

Head home with it settled.

See who owes whom, make your transfers and confirm when the money arrives. The organiser can close the trip when you’re done.

Before you set off

A few good
questions.

Do we need a house on Ghar?

No. Travel Mode works on its own. Create a trip with friends, even if none of you share a house.

Does everyone need an account?

Yes. Each new participant joins with a Ghar account, so they can see the shared ledger and confirm their transfers. Joining through a trip invitation link also connects the joiner and inviter as friends.

How does currency work?

Each trip runs in one currency. You can add an optional reference amount when recording an expense.

Who can see our trip expenses?

Members of that trip can see its shared expenses, splits and balances. A trip has its own ledger, separate from your house and private friend ledgers.

Does Ghar move the money?

Ghar keeps the records and shows who pays whom. You make the payment yourself, then mark it as sent. The recipient confirms when it arrives.

Pack light. Keep things clear.

You bring the plans.
We’ll keep the numbers.
